Honeycomb polycarbonate panels can be used to create transparent and semi-transparent roofs or walls in predominantly industrial or commercial settings. The certified thermal insulation of these products is to be related to the number and size of the cells constituting the section of the slab or slat while the mechanical capacity of the modules is a consequence not only of the section, but also of the number and type of constraints adopted for fixing to the supporting structure. It is a light, resistant and easy to install material but sensitive to exposure to UV rays. and for this reason it is generally offered in the improved version with a specific protective treatment that prevents premature aging.
